His many genealogy friends will be sad to learn of the passing of Bob Dawes on 7 January.
Bob was for many years a leader for the Quinte Branch of OGS, a popular speaker across the province as recently as last May, and for Ottawa Branch in September 2020.

Oh no!! I am so very sorry to hear this. I had the great pleasure of working with him quite a few times over the last few years and he was a lovely man. His talks were always interesting and informative. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his wife, Barbara, and his family and friends.
