  1. I visited there a few years ago. I went because I had traced a neighbour’s ancestor to the Navy and Portsmouth. It was fun visiting it, and I was able, on the same UK trip, to find a wonderful paiinting by a local artist for the Victory, Nelsons’ s flagship during ghte batttle of Trafalager. The Navy had not been able to justify trashing the ship and it had been a sort of floating supply vessel. My neighbour’s ancestor had been a member of the ship’s company during that time. Cheers, BT
