  1. John – I particularly liked the Loopholes story. The case study there is on a new coal mine operated by West Cumbria Mining. The mine head frame in their video – not identified, is Haig Colliery, which was a few years ago supposed to be turned into a mining museum. This is about a mile from where I was born in Whitehaven. It is the same coal seams that my Irish immigrant worked in the 1840’s and 50’s when he arrived in Whitehaven. Thanks for a modern story taking me down memory lane.
