Given the recent news I was interested to scan through the Annual report … : our Indian homes, at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, the Shingwauk Home for Boys, opened 1875, the Wawanosh Home for Girls, opened 1879. I probably wouldn’t even have noticed it on the list before…
